Hotbox and Convector gas fires are high end efficiency products which allow for the convection of warm air from the fire, back into the room. These are single and double skinned boxes, whereby air from the room is taken in from the bottom of vent of the fire, channeled up at the back of the fire and emitted as warm air from the top vent area on the unit.
