Stone, like marble, is a beautiful and natural product, therefore as noted in our marble showroom, its colour, shade and texture will be subject to variation. Small samples of stone are only representative of a selected material. Lamartine will always advise that when selecting your stone fireplace that you look very carefully at your piece to be satisfied with your choice.
Natural stone is easy to look after. If your fireplace gets marked or scuffed it can easily be cleaned. Any surface stains from spills such as tea/wine can be removed with a hard brush using soapy water. More deeply ingrained marks such as scuffs / soot can be removed with fine sandpaper. |
